60th Anniversary Kick-off party

2023 marks the start of our 60th year in business! In celebration, we plan to host several events throughout the year to honor this milestone.

You are invited to our kick-off celebration beginning Friday, Feb 17 at the Isabel Bloom Showroom and Tour center in Davenport, our Isabel Bloom shop in West Des Moines, as well as online.

Friday, February 17

  • 10am the Quad City Chamber will host a short ceremony at our Isabel Bloom showroom and tour center, Davenport to present the company with a special plaque, followed by a free behind-the-scenes tour of the handcrafted production process.
  • 3pm ribbon-cutting at Isabel Bloom in Valley Junction, West Des Moines, hosted by the West Des Moines Chamber.

Monday, February 20

  • Day long birthday celebration in both stores (Isabel would have been 115!)  Join us for cake and fun!60th Anniversary Kick-off party

Donna (Liston) Young graduated from St. Ambrose University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Art Education. She started working for Isabel Bloom shortly after graduation, holding many different positions within the company. She was mentored by Isabel before her passing in 2001, and has become the sole designer, and now co-owner of Isabel Bloom.
