Career Opportunity: Full-time Retail Store Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW:  Isabel Bloom is a well-established specialty retail store whose products are unique concrete sculptures handcrafted by local artisans in Iowa.

POSITION SUMMARY:  We are seeking an energetic, experienced Store Manager who can effectively lead and direct all day-to-day activities for our Davenport store.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Fostering a customer-focused team environment that anticipates customer needs, ensures customer satisfaction and builds/improves customer loyalty.
• Creating a positive work environment by providing strong, effective leadership for your team.

• Communicating effectively and collaborating with company owners regarding store goals/objectives and overall performance.
• Training and coaching team members to their highest potential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of management experience within a retail environment with a successful track record of driving sales growth
• Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills.
• Solid understanding of basic retail management practices & procedures

• Documented ability to effectively drive sales and profit while mentoring and developing your team to their highest potential.
• Outstanding customer service, communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work weekdays, and some weekend and holidays hours.
• Previous cash register and basic computer experience required.
• Ability to move / handle merchandise up to 55 lbs with assistance.

• Pre-employment drug test, background and credit check required.
