Inspired by Mike’s daughter, Charlie, as she perches atop her best dog-friend, Bethel, the sculpture captures the innocence of childhood … while sharing the hope all parents have for their children’s health and well being.
That hope was nearly crushed for Mike and Jodi Wolfe when they learned their baby had a cleft lip and cleft palate. “We cried when we found out,” Mike says. “But Charlie had excellent surgical care and is happy and healthy today.”
Mike and Jodi care about all the children in the world who aren’t as fortunate. They are working to bring awareness of the condition to us all.
“We are so happy to be able to advocate for Operation Smile, an organization that makes such a difference for those born with the same condition as Charlie. Helping give a healthy life and new smile to children who would otherwise not have it is just wonderful.”
